How should the capsules be stored after opening?

After opening, stored at room temperature, the pod maintains its excellent state of freshness for up to six days. Following exposure to air, the following week, the coffee begins to undergo alterations due to natural oxidation processes. It is advisable to put the coffee in the refrigerator immediately after opening to preserve the aroma and taste of the product which, if preserved in this way, should still be consumed within 21 days. In this case it is necessary to let the coffee return to room temperature to avoid the creation of possible stratifications or lumps.

What is the best way to prepare coffee with the moka?

To obtain a perfect coffee with the moka you need to follow simple rules:
1) insert water into the tank up to the valve level, slightly below
2) insert the moka ground coffee up to the edge of the filter and no further, without pressing it
3) after having closed the moka, place it over the heat source which must be set to minimum to allow correct extraction in the right time
4) stop the extraction before the "bubbling" begins. This last phase - called the "Strombolian phase" - actually ruins the coffee, making it burnt.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping to Italy* has a fixed cost of €4.99 for Italy, regardless of the quantity purchased.

*NOTE: it is not possible to ship to Livigno and Campione d'Italia.

How can I get free shipping?

To obtain free shipping, you must purchase at least €60 worth of goods, or by purchasing an offer marked with a "free shipping" sticker.

Can I use Espresso grounds with the moka?

Ground coffee for espresso is ideal for the home espresso machine, but can also be used for the moka. To guarantee perfect extraction with the Moka preparation, we recommend using the dedicated Moka grind, which is slightly coarser than that of espresso.

How many coffees can you drink per day?

The quantity varies depending on your personal caffeine disposal times. Since caffeine consumption is self-limiting, people spontaneously tend to adjust their consumption to the optimal level. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has identified a generic maximum caffeine intake limit of 400mg per day, which would correspond to approximately 5 cups of espresso.

How long does the delivery take?

Delivery takes place within 24-48* working hours following the shipping date depending on the destination.
The shipment is notified via email.
ATTENTION: The times reported are those indicated by the couriers as average distances.
In any case, they do not represent a contractual obligation.

NOTE*: 24-48 hour delivery is only for the food type. All other products are generally delivered within 24/48 working hours. Delivery times vary from 6 to 14 working days. Saturday and Sunday are not included.

How do I check that my order has been accepted?

At the end of the order procedure, the positive outcome and the order code just entered are automatically reported.
In any case, if the order has been entered correctly, it is displayed in the "Your Orders" section which can be accessed, after logging in, by clicking on your user or in the "My profile" section.

What do I do if I receive a damaged package?

All orders shipped from our warehouses are perfectly packaged and sealed, so that the package is protected from accidental opening.
If at the time of delivery you notice that the packaging is damaged, the box is ruined or shows obvious signs of opening or tampering, you have the right to report it to the courier and possibly accept the goods "subject to verification". In this way, after having reported, we will evaluate any damage and agree what to do, while we will deal with the problem directly with the courier.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, just report it promptly by contacting us by telephone or with a message from the site using the "contact us" form.
The important thing is to verify the correct data of the order to be canceled: order number and reference email address.

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

At the time of shipment, a confirmation email is sent with the tracking link on the courier's website.
It is also possible to check the status of the order in the appropriate section of the site.
ATTENTION: It is possible that orders already delivered are still being processed, this is due to the non-synchronization of past orders.

Why does the tracking link I received say "shipment not found"?

The email is sent at the same time as the order is processed.
The tracking is visible only after the courier has issued the tracking code, which usually happens after around 9pm on the day of shipment.

What are "discount codes"? How are they used?

Discount codes are coupons that allow you to obtain discounts on an order.
Some can be obtained by making purchases on commercial partner sites, others are sent to all customers via newsletters on the occasion of particular general promotions or linked to particular product lines.
The codes must be entered in the appropriate box of the cart and clicking on "apply Coupon".

Why can't I apply the discount code?

Codes are not applicable if your cart already contains a particular promotion.
Furthermore, it is necessary to check any limitations of the same, such as expiry or minimum order.

How can I have my order delivered to an address different from the registered one?

At the checkout there is an address field: by clicking on new address you can enter and select a new destination.
The new address entered will be saved in the profile and will be selectable again for future orders.
